Mechanical [HVAC]-Electrical-Plumbing Expo (MEP 2013) is India's first ever MEP focused event for Buildings & Industrial Sectors.
MEP is an initiative designed to create a unique platform to form a convergence of major M-E-P players under one roof, to evaluate the scope of electro-mechanical technology & services in India and work towards meeting the accelerated demand in the building as well as industrial segments. The event will offer an opportunity to showcase the latest technological advancements & innovations for exploring new business prospects as well as for dissemination of knowledge in the quest to deliver world class technology services.

India has seen a significant growth in the Real Estate (Buildings & Industry) sector in the last few years which is currently worth US$ 12 billion and plays a substantial role in contributing to the economy of the country. Presently real estate accounts for about 5% of India's GDP and is expected to rise up to 6% over next five years. MEP segment is currently quite fragmented in India, although a few large projects are handled by integrated players. However, with the current boom in the construction segment with many large projects in the pipeline, sudden surge in MEP services is been witnessed in the recent times. This huge stockpile of demand has brought in enormous opportunities for the service/technology providers to allocate necessary skills, technological advancements & resources to meet the requirements of the End Users.
MEP will thus serve as an ideal meeting place for interaction between the various stakeholders & policy makers of the construction/real estate industry and a platform to showcase latest trends & innovations in M-E-P Services and products.
